Seriously, between Face's clerical collar in numerous episodes and Murdock wearing the cassock in Firing Line, The A-Team has NOT EVER helped me feel less dirty about my awkward priest fetish. Lol.

I did watch the 1960s Batman, and The Green Hornet, but don't remember A-Team! I guess I just watched all the wrong stuff, hehe! And yeah, the Cylon had to be explained to me. xD I've also never seen Battlestar... *fail*

Bwhahaha, why not kiss on Face? He's very good for that! I mean, I'm much older now and I still kinda want to kiss my Face toy...though more so the Murdock one...

That makes me sad too, BUT, Neill is an amazing guy. And I'm sure it will be an amazing movie! Ooo, maybe I'll get to read that one. *keeps fingers crossed!* And I hope they mean EARLY 2013, cause not sure I can wait...

Oh man I love me some Battlestar Galactica. It's so cheesy good. I REFUSE to watch the redo. Every time E says she wants to watch it I go screaming from the room with my hands over my ears, "STARBUCK'S NOT A GIRL!!!!!!"
Read that one, huh?

I kinda want to watch both. Just because the new one looks awesome, and the old one because I love me some Dirk and some cheese and the originals of things. Still a fan of the original Willy Wonka still just because Gene Wilder = awesome. :D

I have a second job where I read movie scripts for a production house and recommend if they should buy or not (whether they take my opinion or not, who knows). Usually I read more commercial films, so not sure if Elysium will ever cross my desk, but hopefully it will...

OOOMMMMGGGG that sounds like the freaking greatest job ever. I so want that. I am TOTALLY jealous.
Damn and I thought selling sex toys was an awesome job. Lol.

I absolutely LOVE that job! :D BUT - it is not consistent at all. I haven't had work in months, literally. Last one was in November, probably October really. I'm hoping for work in February, when Sundance hits, but we'll see.

Honestly, I think selling sex toys ranks up there with it though, LOL! I mean, just the sheer amount of dropped jaws it gets is so worth it!

How'd you get the job?
I absolutely love what I do. I'm so glad I found it. I have never had so much fun "working". Though honestly it's not much work, going to people's houses, having some drinks, showing the toys. It's seriously the perfect job for me. Lol.

Don't you love it when you just find something that makes you smile, even though you're getting paid to do it? Wish my for-realsies-full-time job was like that. xD I got my script reading job through a different production office I used to intern for, way back when I lived in Hollywood for a few months.

That is so totally epically awesome!
And yes I freaking LOVE it. I can sit here at home futz around on the computer while watching A-Team episodes then go do a 2 hr. party and come home with $200. It's absolutely spectacular. Plus, it gives me more time to write, which I hadn't done in 8 years but the minute I gave my notice at work BAM there it was. This time I've even got something original besides A-Team that I'm working on so yeah peacing outta a job that's not what you want is the best feeling in the world.

That is so, so awesome! I can imagine it would leave a lot of time to relax and do what you love - like write! And man, original writing, haven't done that in awhile. (My screenwriting teacher would kill me. xD) Do you do a party every day or, how often does that happen?

Date: 2012-01-19 07:17 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com
As long as I do an hour of work a day that has to do with PR I'm good. I mean I make customer calls while watching tv and build flyers in between writing, which is the important thing really. :)
It's been kind of a VERY slow month but I expected that because I took most of Dec. off but I usually do between 2-3 parties a week which gives me about what I was making at my old job just in WAYYYYY less hours. :)
I have a bridal show I'm doing on Sunday and I'm hoping to get at least 20 parties from it, which would be so very sweet.

Date: 2012-01-19 07:35 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] purrslink.livejournal.com
Ahhhh, PR. My realsie job is marketing, so I hear you on that. It can be kind of fun, though, and the bridal show sounds like it should be a kick! Do you get free cake while you're at those things? Because I'd be all over the cake vendors... Also, I had no idea these parties were so popular. xD

Date: 2012-01-19 07:44 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com
Oh man I HOPE I get cake. I didn't even think of that before! BONUS!!!!
I didn't either until I met my upline mama at a breast cancer conference that me and E were at last year. Our company has over 75000 consultant and we're in Canada, Puerto Rico and we're about to launch in South Africa and Australia.
My sponsor made 60k last year. I'm like DAYUMMM I need a portion of that to be good.

Date: 2012-01-19 07:57 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] purrslink.livejournal.com
75k? And your sponsor made 60k? Dayuuuuuum indeed! Seriously, mind somewhat blown! Holy balls, that is way bigger than I thought! And that's awesome about the expansion! Too bad there isn't company trips available (I'm assuming). Could go stand outside of Copley's studio and drool...

OMG there's no way E would let me go. She's already been told I'd totally peace out in a second if he TOTALLY decided to leave his hot blonde girlfriend for my hobbit looking ass. Because that's seriously realistic. Same applies for Simon Pegg. I'd be gone in a heartbeat. But that's ok she has Jason Segel. Lol.

Date: 2012-01-19 08:12 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] purrslink.livejournal.com
Bahahahahaha! Yeeeeah, agreed. Though I didn't know he had a girlfriend - I thought he was between. What's bad is this still isn't stopping my vivid fantasy life playing out me landing at the Johannesberg airport and him being there ready to proclaim undying love.

I had to look up Simon Pegg. See, an ex- of mine looks a bit like him and acts like he does in Shaun of the Dead, soooooo he has been totally ruined for me.

Date: 2012-01-19 08:21 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com
Lol Roll with it baby, Roll with it!!!!
Ohhh yeah, yeah that would totally ruin it.

Date: 2012-01-19 08:33 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] purrslink.livejournal.com
I know, right? And everyone always asks me why I'm 'meh' about Shaun of the Dead. xD We're still friends too, so I'm always reminded of that movie whenever I talk to him.

Date: 2012-01-19 08:47 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com
I'm so very thankful that my ex doesn't remind me of any movies especially my favs because I'd be super sad if I could never watch Shaun of the Dead again.
