Nom Nom Nom

Seriously, between Face's clerical collar in numerous episodes and Murdock wearing the cassock in Firing Line, The A-Team has NOT EVER helped me feel less dirty about my awkward priest fetish. Lol.

"wkward priest fetish"

Might be the cause, if the pics up there are any indication. ;p

[identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 01:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh god it's SOOOOOOO their faults. Considering I've been watching The A-Team since I was 6 so they TOTALLY woulda been the first hot priests I woulda seen.

[identity profile] purrslink.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 02:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Annnnnd there goes my coffee all over my desk. I now need to watch season 4 so I can get to season 5. Damn you, Lost, taking up all my time!

[identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 02:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Murdock all priesty is seriously the BEST thing about Season 5 and even that couldn't stop me from shaking my fist at it sometimes.

[identity profile] purrslink.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 02:57 pm (UTC)(link)
So I keep hearing. I mean, I don't own season 5 yet, just seasons 2-4, so it might be for the better. But let's be honest, it could have been half hour episodes of Murdock standing there doing almost nothing and I would prooooobably still watch it...

[identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 03:04 pm (UTC)(link)
And those woulda been freaking AWESOME episodes.
There's like 5 really good episodes in the season the rest make me cringe. The 3 court martial episodes are AMAZING.
And gah, Family Reunion has so much F/M angst it seriously gets me all tensed up when I watch it 'cuz I'm like NOOOOO. (I embarrass myself, I know.)
Without Reservations is good too but the rest oy, so awful.

[identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 03:12 pm (UTC)(link)
AND thanks to these pictures and my sister's conniption the other day about how sad she was there wasn't gonna be a sequel to the movie just for the fact that we'd NEVER get to see Bradley Cooper dressed as a priest my brain is totally buzzing with ideas... oh the hotness.

[identity profile] purrslink.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 03:12 pm (UTC)(link)
I think, by the time I hit season 5, it will just be a "I have to say I saw it all!" mentality kicking in. And the court martial episodes. Which are apparently plot bunny spawning. This is gonna be soooo bad for my studying... Not that, you know, it isn't already. xD

[identity profile] purrslink.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 03:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Hehehehe! I know in the comics for the movie we get to see Hannibal as a priest, but not Face! I would loooove to see that! xD I can only imagine the scenarios that would occur...

[identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 03:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, you really do. Shiat, the whole season is serious serious plot bunny material for awful angsty, rip your heart out and stomp on it F/M stories.
Studying? What's that!? Lol. I should be doing school work and actually cleaning up my home office. Only thing I've done in there is put up my A-Team poster when it came the other day. E went in there last night and came out going "WTF!? Where did that come from!?"

[identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 03:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Awful dirty dirty scenarios that if I WERE Catholic I'd have to go to confessional for. BUUUUUUUT since I'm not, I'm all good. :)

[identity profile] purrslink.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 03:29 pm (UTC)(link)
See? Even more reason to watch! Though I get the impression I'm just going to want to rewrite most of it...

Ha, yeah, really! Oh school work, or, well, standardized test work. Why do we need these things when there are better things to do with my time? Not that I've been able to write a lot lately... *eyes muses* Also, I firmly believe an A-Team poster is a necessity in every office. Or an A-Team item period. I keep meaning to bring in my action figures to work for that very reason. xD

[identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 03:36 pm (UTC)(link)
The A-Team in EVERY office is VERY important. I mean HELLO they help you get stuff done.
Oh man, I totally should have brought my A-Team figures when I was stuck in my cubicle it woulda made it so awesome. I still can't believe that I got them all including the Amy figure for like $10 on Ebay 11 years ago.
Oh well now I have the whole entire office to do whatever I want, including painting the door to look like the TARDIS, well the INSIDE door. My life was threatened if I even THOUGHT it put it on the outside.
*Eyes your muses*
I make mine write even if they don't want too. Like right now I'm struggling with the LAST part of my 'GGS' story which I KNEW was gonna happen the minute I split it into thirds. But if I keep pushing through something will stick and then BAM I'll be off.

[identity profile] purrslink.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 03:48 pm (UTC)(link)
I know, right?? I need to bring them in to join my Crazy Cat Lady Action Figure, my Dr. Monarch bobble head, and my Yo Gabba Gabba stress ball. Round out the crew, you know. xD

Painting your inner door as the Tardis, however, is AWESOME! I so highly approve, and I don't even really watch Dr. Who! Epicness! Haha, I would love to paint my walls, but apartment has to approve shit, so oh well. And yeah, I got mine off Ebay for around that, though my Murdock is kinda messed up and I don't have Amy. It's on my list, eventually!

I need to just sit down and write through it. I'm sure I could do it if I just didn't keep getting distracted. Especially since I have three stories open and have another idea for another one. *head desk* Doesn't help that one of these is H/F, which I wish I could write better (if only because so many of my meme friends love it), but argh.

[identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 03:56 pm (UTC)(link)
OMG you have the greatest collection of office figures EVER.
I always told myself that when I moved into my own place it'd be so kick ass and insane with my movie posters and action figures all over the place. But then when you live with someone who would have a STROKE if there was a Bubba Ho-Tep poster in the living room, regardless of whether it was signed or not, things change. I'm supposed to act all adult and stuff. BOOOOOO. So that's what my office is for. :)
Distraction is awful. I found all these old notebooks that were half full of stories, part stories and ideas that ranged from awesome to WTF was that!? Though I could totally use some of them as movie verse. :)
My sister told me she wanted a BA/Murdock movie story and I'm so trying to work on it but my poor brain is like THIS IS WRONG!!! WHAT ABOUT FACE!??!?!
H/F is man, I don't know. To me that's like close to incest. Hannibal's like his dad. But that's why I love A-Team FF, everyone's got a pairing.

[identity profile] purrslink.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 04:12 pm (UTC)(link)
It is a pretty kick ass collection! I also have BA and Murdock drawn as cats by shinyshine_13 (she's on LJ, just not active for a long while), a dried starfish, a reindeer...thing my boss's kid picked out as an office Christmas gift, some more cat figures (I might be obsessed), a grow-your-own-dino, and a thing from Hallmark that shakes its head that my mom didn't want. Oh, and Wheat Thins. It's pretty rad, you know. xD If I could only work from home it would be more so...

Boo on being adult! Heck, my signed Watchmen poster is going up in the living room if I ever get something not an apartment! When I still lived at home, 3/4 walls had movie posters tacked up. Ceiling to floor, no lie. There's a picture somewhere on my journal. I've always wanted to do that in a more public place, since it's fun and conversation starting. Use that excuse for the Bubba Ho-Tep poster maybe? xD At least you have the office I suppose! You should totally do the ceiling up with something.

Yeah, ugh on distraction. It happens a lot with me. Like, a lot. I really just need someone to kick my ass on it, seriously. I have three birthday stories that are WAY late plus that eventual F/M, dark horror one. You can do it, though, the BA/M! I really recommend looking up shinyshine_13's stuff! She draws movie verse in a unique way that helps me write BA/M when I need it.

And me and H/F...I dunno. I have a huge H/F story that I reeeally need to finish, but I lost my way on it and now I don't like it. I like the secondary OCs better than the main ones... *argh!* Also, I get bored with writing a story when it doesn't have Murdock. (I'm horrible, I know.)

[identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 04:22 pm (UTC)(link)
My room was like that to until I moved. I worked at a video store for years and got all the sweet movie posters and promos. Man, I bet the A-Team promo stuff was kick ass.
Dark Horror one you say? I'm intrigued.
Oh man the BA/M is gonna be crazy. My sister was over on the weekend and we sat watching episodes and the movie and we laid out the plot which of course has her Pike/Lynch as evil!boyfriends in it also.
The title is incredibly cracky but I wouldn't expect anything less from my sister.
'Excuse Me, I Bumped Into Your Hotdog'.
I really want to work on it but I know if I don't finish the third part to GGS I'll never write it and then I'll be irritated forever. So I promise myself I will NOT write anything else until I do the BA/M story. CRAP!!!! Except I have the dang QL/TAT story for the group that's due Valentinesy and I haven't even got into a series writing frame of mind in FOREVER.
I completely understand your issue with lack of Murdock. I mean HELLO it's Murdock.

[identity profile] purrslink.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 04:36 pm (UTC)(link)
If there was any promo stuff! The A-Team didn't market well at all. I didn't even want to go see it until after my sister had seen it. Needless to say, here I am now, but still. xD Some of the posters are fun though, and I hear there are life sized cardboard cut outs somewhere on the Internet. Also, why are there only Hannibal and BA figures from the movie? I've found, like, one Murdock one. Not cool!

Yeah, the horror one's started over on the meme, but only one part is up. :/

Bwhahahaha, I love the title though! And crack can be utterly fantastic. Super fun to write too! And of course she'd want Pike/Lynch, hehe. They're the perfect crack couple!

Ooo, good luck on that TAT/QL one. I haven't seen any of QL, though I want too. I just don't have it in me to watch it right now AND write about it. Maybe you can still do it movie verse? Doesn't necessarily have to be series, does it?

[identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 04:45 pm (UTC)(link)
OMG me and my sister were waiting for the movie. It was one of those things we were stressing about for YEARS on whether the movie would be good. Then the cast started falling into place, though I had reservations about Neeson until I saw Taken then I was oh snap. Plus, my very big main concern had always been who was gonna play Murdock. I saw District 9 literally a few weeks before they said Copley was gonna play Murdock and I was like ok, ok this could work but then I saw him talking about the A-Team and I was like, "Holy god it's gonna be good. I so approve." Plus... HOT. Lol.
Me and my sis drug our S.O.s to the movie, sitting there all tense and worried until after the opening scene where we were like "YESSSSSSSS! This is what we WANTED FOREVER!"
I love me some crack every once in awhile. It's so much fun.
I LOOOOOOOOVE QL. It could be a movie verse but Al from QL was in 'Nam and could have totally crossed paths with the A-Team, not to mention I have half a story written out from 10 years ago. Lol.

[identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 04:47 pm (UTC)(link)
OH! It's also probably for the best that I'm JUST NOW hearing about life size stand ups. I'd be in so much trouble. E would come home and Murdock would be on her side of the bed all snuggled under the covers. Yeah... it would not go well. Plus I'd get paper cuts on my tongue for trying to continuously make out with it.

[identity profile] purrslink.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 04:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd never seen A-Team before. It was something I got in to only after the movie (I'm one of those xD). I love old, kinda campy TV shows though, which is why I love the series so much, and why Adam West will always be my Batman. I still need to look up QL. Knowing AL was in 'Nam now helps motivate me a bit more... *favorite time era!*

Copley was a fantastic pick! I love him dearly, and wish he would act in other things so I can continue to fan girl while he's on screen! I guess I'll just have to keep replaying A-Team and District 9 though instead. And yes, he is hot. HOT. He's probably my number one celebrity crush, and people are always a bit off-put. More for me. :D

[identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 05:03 pm (UTC)(link)
It's ok I forgive you. You're here now so it's all good. I grew up on The A-Team. I remember being 5 when the 3rd season was on because I remember the 'robot' with Face in the opening not realizing till later that haha Cylon. I also remember getting in SOOOOOOOO much trouble with my mom because I stole my cousin's Face action figure and was kissing it when my mom found me. Oh, she was so mad and I couldn't understand why. I mean all the girls on the tv were always kissing on Face. Lol.
Sharlto was supposed to be in MIB3 but dropped out (which I'm TOTALLY sad about) to do Elysium with Neill Blomkamp. But it won't even be out till 2013. *sad panda*

[identity profile] purrslink.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 05:09 pm (UTC)(link)
I did watch the 1960s Batman, and The Green Hornet, but don't remember A-Team! I guess I just watched all the wrong stuff, hehe! And yeah, the Cylon had to be explained to me. xD I've also never seen Battlestar... *fail*

Bwhahaha, why not kiss on Face? He's very good for that! I mean, I'm much older now and I still kinda want to kiss my Face toy...though more so the Murdock one...

That makes me sad too, BUT, Neill is an amazing guy. And I'm sure it will be an amazing movie! Ooo, maybe I'll get to read that one. *keeps fingers crossed!* And I hope they mean EARLY 2013, cause not sure I can wait...

[identity profile] crazyfoolstiney.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 05:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh man I love me some Battlestar Galactica. It's so cheesy good. I REFUSE to watch the redo. Every time E says she wants to watch it I go screaming from the room with my hands over my ears, "STARBUCK'S NOT A GIRL!!!!!!"
Read that one, huh?

[identity profile] purrslink.livejournal.com 2012-01-19 05:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I kinda want to watch both. Just because the new one looks awesome, and the old one because I love me some Dirk and some cheese and the originals of things. Still a fan of the original Willy Wonka still just because Gene Wilder = awesome. :D

I have a second job where I read movie scripts for a production house and recommend if they should buy or not (whether they take my opinion or not, who knows). Usually I read more commercial films, so not sure if Elysium will ever cross my desk, but hopefully it will...
