<-------- That's 100%, absolutely me right now. Which is why I spent last night screencapping and making a TON of new icons AND making stupid art for my AU but not writing any of it. Which means I can't show anyone the pictures because I haven't WRITTEN the story. >.> I'm starting to rethink my "finish the story completely before posting" rule I *JUST* imposed on myself. Maybe journal only until it's finished THEN I'll put it up other places?

I know that feeling. I've got some non-A Team stories that are languishing out there that I need to finish up, too, but all I can think of is zee porn.

And no worries. Most of us (except for the newcomers I don't know, and sadly not including a few of my faves who didn't sign up) have fairly recognizable writing styles. Write the story you want, and don't worry about anything else!

Zee porn is not bad at all. Hell I've got TONS of crap I *SHOULD* be writing like my damned original story submission but I got a freaking Supernatural Dean in panties plot bunny that NEEDS to be written. Seriously. A fandom that big and there's barely any stories pertaining to the CANON panties kink Dean has. FOR SHAMMMMMMMMMMMME!!!

Omega is... okay, I won't say I've never enjoyed it, but it goes creepy WAAAAAAAY fast. Still, I prefer the downright disgustingly OOC WTF quality of the SPN fandom's take on it over, say, The Avengers. A lot of the girls there seem to want to use it to "explore" gender and sexuality issues and it's like... no. You're missing the point. It's dirty, shameless, horrible porn.

I think that's my main problem with Omega IS the absolute OOCness of it. But OMG seriously!? You're so right, it's NOT an issues thing... unless that issue is getting fucked in a OMG did that really just happen sorta way.

I cannot deny that I have fallen very hard into the ALL THE AUs here lately. That and panties is all I seem to write anymore. I LOVE IT!! Lol.

But I think that's the fun thing about the AUs with this fandom. You don't have to make massive changes to the characters or their situation/jobs in order to make something work. The military and/or soldier of fortune thing works basically everywhere (which is probably why all of my AUs involve the military still, lol)...

I hauled ass on writing up until I moved and got this job then it was like NOPE. I love the panties stories but honestly the last story that I was like OMG I absolutely love this so much was my damned gunplay one.

I was talking to my dad the other day about how I was urgh about this job and he was like well what do you wanna do and I just kinda shrugged. He was all I know you wanna write. You need to be poor and write then. O_O My father is awesome. Crazy but awesome.

I'm looking at stuff right now. There are a couple things that look promising (and a few involve writing) but we shall see how any of that turns out. I'd love to write as a job, but honestly, there's not much money in it, and I know that. :(

I didn't write for 8 years and when I started last Decemeber I was like OMG I can't believe I stopped this. And now being back on the other side where I'm struggling again. Honestly it fucking SUCKS. I have all these ideas for original shiat that are so damned amazing but now every time I pick up paper I freeze up. I hate it. I'd rather have no money at all.

Yeah, I can understand that. I'm in the same place right now, actually, but maybe for different reasons. Poor but published would be AWESOME.
