;D I really wish that I could plan out and write a long series, but I'm scared that my muse will die or I'll get bored. Or I just won't know how to tackle it. I know that many writers make a storyline, but even my short fics tend to drift. It just makes me feel inadequate and anxious, tbh.
Eehhhhhh, mostly the HP fandom, but fandoming in general. It was more to do with me not jumping on the fandom mandated big pairings or smut, thus I almost never had any feedback or peeps to tell me what I needed to work on. Couple that with the fact that I have been friends with BNFs that wrote so much that I just felt overwhelmed by everything, and I'd usually just call it a day.
Now, it's lazyness + out of practice + general = blah. Which is why I cheerlead your writing efforts so hard. :p
Man my big assed story was only supposed to be 3 parts until Amy Allen inserted herself into the story just like she did in the damned original show. Lol. Now it's double that and I have NO CLUE how it's going to end. It's a completely different story than when I started. >.< Whoops.
I SHOULD write storylines but I usually don't. Like my Slay-Team, I have in my head how it's "supposed" to go but even that's already changed once... to something BIGGER. WTF!?
*Le sigh* The big fandom pairing. Ewwwww, I know about that. Other than like 10 people including myself everyone else was Hannibal/Face, which FREAKS me out. *shudder* So most people just gave me the >.> but whatever I do what I want. I've been shipping F/M for 12 years. If in another 12 they remake ANOTHER movie I'll STILL be Face/Murdockin' it. :P

Hehehe my writing efforts is seriously my OCD FEAR of waking up one day and my writing being gone again. I honestly can still remember exactly when it went before. I looked at my old LJ and saw a post saying SHIAT my writing's gone. And then it stayed gone for YEARS.
Your stuff is awesome so if that's outta practice then holy crap when you get into the full swing of things you're gonna knock people the hell over. XD
Man. That's both awesome and it sucks. You get to explore this whole other verse and when it's done, you can proudly look at it and say "I did this!" But I definitely understand the whole writing being gone thing. Stress will do me in, just like everyone else. Sometimes, it's easier to write a story in your head than it is to get it down on paper. I have what amounts to a few book series-es (sp?) in my head and I honestly don't think I could tackle them in a hard copy/digital format. It would be too much for me, I think.
Yeah, big fandoms are awesome, because you have people that like the same thing as you. But they can suck when it comes to niche pairings or storylines. As for your main fandom, if we were using movie-verse, I can see what is considering the big pairing. Because, hello, Liam Neeson/Bradley Cooper hotness! Original tv series, not so much... I say roll with what you like until the wheels fall off.

Awww you should totally try. Maybe talking it out into a recorder? This is gonna make me sound bizarre but when I'm driving for work that's when I come up with A LOT of my stuff, usually because I'm alone in the car talking to myself. You know, they do have that spoken word-to-typed word software. I could have sworn that I heard that Rick Riodan used the software. Or some other writer that produces a lot of books in a short amount of time. And no, you're not weird. I usually go through story ideas while walking down the street, or riding the bus, or standing around at work. It's just best when you're a lone and can hear yourself think. And i talk to myself all the time, too. :p
I've had the hots for Liam since I was a teenager. And of course, by the time i was legal, he'd calmed down from his crazy days. Ewan McGregor, too. q.q Ah, well. There are other boys to love and Liam, Ewan, etc and me can keep our unrequited love thing going.
Bradley Cooper is way too hot to push in front of a van. Only because I liked him waaaaaaaaaaaay before he became a big time star and started dressing "better"/like a Hollywood douche. I like him back on "Alias" when he was a geek in the background. ♥ But hey, more Bradley for me and more Shalto for you. :p

I'm telling you the phone thing has worked WONDERS for me the last couple days. I wrote 1000 last night and this morning on this side Slay-Team angsty sex so my sister doesn't have to suffer through it story. Lol. And it's TOTALLY because the internet is not in the way. Horrible horrible distracting internets.
