Ahhhh, good morning to me. *stares for awhile, sips coffee, lets brain just take that in* Also, this episode with that pimp jacket and zebra interior on that car? Priceless! Almost as good as that one episode with the booty shorts at the country club.
I love the look on his face when he's all "Save me Faceman, save me." and he's breathing all hard and he's watching the fur move on the back of the coat. Mmmmm, booty shorts. I am in no way at this moment firing up Netflix. Not in the least. *weg*
Oh, TRUST that I will find this episode. Actually I think I know which one it is. Dude shorts in the 80s really were very very short. Just because Daisy Duke wore DDs doesn't mean dudes should... but I'll make some exceptions. :P
Soooo agreed. Dirk Benedict happens to be one of those few exceptions. xD Also, let's not forget Timber! and the infamous bed room scene, with shirtless Face and a frazzled looking Murdock. YUM. *drools into coffee!*
See, just three is all it takes to make my little slashy heart flip for joy! Haha, oh poor Face! Looking so very worn out there! Bwhahahahaha. I can ooooonly imagine!
Hehehehehehe! Yeeeees, "Bigfoot". So many jokes in there about feet... xD I still wish I'd written Timber! though. It would have had Murdock a bit more hurt by that falling log, and a lot more Face fawning over said hurt Murdock. <3 Though the two of them shooting while sitting atop the log pile at the end waaaas priceless!
When I first told E, "ok I write A-Team slash" she was like "WTF?! No way." She wouldn't listen till I made her sit down and watch Timber with me. They get to the bed scene and she's spluttering and going, "OMG was the A-Team ALWAYS this gay!?" Now when my sister starts bitching about me slashing F/M, E's like it's CANON!!!!
:D It's funny how you can so easily convert people with that episode! I wasn't into A-Team slash until Corky converted me, and she's been a F/M slasher for yeeeears. And of course that episode only helped. As did her stories and all of her insightful musings into the missing scenes of episodes.
My sister still gets mad at me if we sit down to watch episodes and I'm like, "TIMBER!!" thought honestly at this point I do it more so for the fact I love watching her scream about how I only watch that episode because it's slashy. But I do so so so love that episode.
I love me some missing scene stories. Though I've never written one. Hmmm, I should rectify that. I'll have to put it in the backlog of 458745734 ideas I have. Good news is I don't see myself running out of stories anytime soon.
See, every time I hear about someone complaining about F/M, I just think of that Charlie the Unicorn video and the line: Shun the non-believer! xD All in good fun! I know a lot of people on the meme are die-hard other pairings, and they're lovely people too. Then again, a lot of people I know are also almost solely-movie verse writers, and I can see several pairings there, so to each their own.
(F/M all the way!)
Missing scene stories are the best! Then again, I'm biased because of my huge one and the few small ones I've done. Doooo it! Or at least add it to the list! :D I approve!
I'm trying to get back into the swing of writing series but this time around I've been pretty much all movie, though I do have ideas for series stories. I just keep getting movie ideas that keep pushing them back. I swear after I'm done with the V-Day thing I'm gonna start work on the "Screw you S5 writers THIS is how Family Reunion should have gone" story.
It's ok, it all balances out. I think I write fairly heavily for TV verse a lot of the time, so it stands to reason there is a movie verse heavy writer out there! Plus, I won't lie, being able to make references to pop culture is just waaaay too fun! *giggles!* I look forward to your interpretation of the episode! I haven't seen it, but I know the generics. I look forward to your interpretation!
I think that's why it's so damned easy for me to get Murdock just freaking perfect, because we'll go into the same random weird pop culture rants then be off on something else by the time everyone else THINKS they've caught up. Lol. I actually found a story I'd written bits and pieces of a long time ago that fit perfectly into the story now that helps explain the whole strained Face/Murdock dynamic in Season 5.
Hehehe, I know, right??? I love Murdock because I also get to use obscure pieces of knowledge that really have no relevance anywhere else. My vast X-Men information and tidbit collection in my brain? It finally has a use! Whoooohooooo!
And yaaaay! *bounces!* Maybe I'll just read your stuff instead of watching Season 5. xD
Hahaha!! That is exactly why I love writing him, too. I mean what the hell else is my brain gonna do with knowing all the lyric Monty Python's "Sit on My Face." That is going in a story, just not telling where. ;P
I think it might be for the best, honestly. I mean my story's gonna throw season 5 on it's ear so it's pretty much AU but dammit they deserve better!!!!
Right, right??? Hehehe! It also lets me look up things. Like for this movie verse Billy story I'm doing. Can't tell you how many sites I've looked up regarding black dogs. Sooooo fun! Creepy, but fun! Oh Murdock, I love you and your ability to let me make my Google search history even more random.
They deserve better because they deserve each other! <3
Yeah I thought about that after I posted it. Whoops. Man, I think it's the schmoopy Valentine's story bcuz holy shiat everything else I've written today is freaking tear jerky.
It's total balance. I think it's the ONLY way I got big chunks of three stories done today because I was like gah this is so sugary let me make them sad.

And I can't remember what episode it was. All I know is the shorts were so 80s and so very short and it was rather delicious!
