OH MY GAWD!!! When Cas put his arms out all 'ta-dah' like and asked, "Better?" I actually said, out loud, with this huge grin on my face, "Better."
"I did everything I could to get you out, everything. I did not leave you."
"So you think this was your fault?"
Did that not totally remind you of the very first episode where they met in Lazarus Rising and Cas tilts his head, just like here, and says, "You don't think you deserve to be saved?" THROWBACK SQUEE!!!
I'm sooooo happy Cas is back although I do wish the writers would just LEAVE HIM THE FUCK ALONE!!! At least for a few fucking episodes. Gawd. Can't we be happy for five goddamn seconds?
Dean was so hurty and guilty and protective and perfect and his looks of love for Cas were just sooo *squees incoherently* I wish there were more of those longing, adoring looks from Cas and that he was more focused on that than making Dean not feel like the most horrible person ever but I'm sure that will come in time. The next episode looks AMAZING and hilarious!!!
